Hey pin.

In the manifold. I was reading that fellows post about hard starts and I still have that strange issue of hard starts when the truck sits for an hour or so AFTER being run. Never an issue when warm and never an issue when cold i.e. first starts in the mornings in any temp.

I replaced the coolant sensor and that did nothing. Checked the fuel pump and even bridged the connection so it ALWAYS ran. Still nothing.

Thought maybe the cold start injector could be dirty/faulty.

Thanks

If it starts easy first thing in the morning it's not the cold start injector.

Maybe you've seen this, but it describes your problem. If not, it's worth a look.

Thank you.

Saw that/did that a couple years ago. Was VERY excited to see that write up but no luck. Did not fix anything. I could hear the pump going when the ignition was on run-point of the cheap trick BUT it never helped. Same problem existed.

I just looked at my AFM and it is clean as a whistle. Of course, that doesn't mean anything ohter than it is not sticking due to debris.

Quite a riddle.
