heeelpp mee my truckks flooded
well i tried to cross a rushing river in the trepanier valley and it took my truck side ways and submerged the front and i turned it off and had it tied to the nearest tree in less than a minute, after i relized i was stuck. It wouldnt start but marlin375 managed to get it to work im not sure how but he did it on the spot. any ways it starts and runs but after a short period of driving my check engine light turns on and the engine starts to cut in and out and wont let me rev over 2 or 3 grand and its not right! heeelllp!

Damn dude, that sucks. There's a lot of small things to look over, but hey at least you're running
. I found water had traveled throughout many vacuum lines when I ate it. If water got to the emissions stuff there could be enough to make the engine sputter. Say there's a cup in that evaporation canister, it stays put until the motor revs enough to get a sip. If you're running and idling fine the major stuff should be intact. Got any pictures, or video? __________________ *Until I get a new camera all pictures will suck* 1994 Pickup 3.0, Total Chaos Caddy kit, Bilstein 9100's front/7100's rear, Centerforce Dual Friction, Red Optima, Flex-a-Lite Fan, TC Idler Arm, TC Diff Crossmember, Marlin rear bumper, fresh Toyota HG's with DOA Head Studs, Amsoil Synthetic Fluids everywhere and 33 BFG Muds. It's time consuming but I'd label and pull every hose for an inspection. Kind of painting with a wide brush but it's difficult to tell what to check over the intranets. If you didn't have standing water in your cab you got off easy
.

What was pulled and cleaned so far??
You are aware that your diffs need to be drained unless you routed your vent lines somewhere VERY high. As well, better make sure there is no water in you engine oil i.e. through the dipstick if loose or through a very old PCV gasket. Are all of your emission lines connected? Did the water cover the entire hood? If so, you could have water anywhere. Could have sucked water back into your gas tank via the emissions caninster ( I think v6's have them). __________________ "May you be in heaven a half an hour before the devil knows you're dead" 1992 4x4 PU |

Start pulling hoses and electrical connections and find where the water is staying... A hair dryer may help.... Good luck!
