That's creepy! Does it have the typical moon green "this glows in the dark" color when it's light out?

It is creepy!

Oh NO! honey, look up ahead eets, eets, ITS a GHOST!

in the daytime, it looks regular. cant even tell. I repainted it white, just before i applied the glow paint. Since the glow paint is clear, i really had to keep track of where i was painting.

Of course i made a stencil, and it was a breeze.

That is simply too awesome (in a creepy way ).

I love the idea Wristy! Do you have any pics of it during the daylight?

when they compliment you on your tailgate art, just tell em, 'I was inspired by the meatmobile' one day, my truck will be famous and they'll know

The Cascades are beautiful. I cant get enough of them. I feel so much at peace sitting quietly in the moss among ferns under evergreen canopies.

thanks for the compliments

That Misfits skull looks good with the glow in the dark paint, I'm almost thinking about putting one on the back of my cherry white 4Runner

What if you just stenciled the glow paint on to your white paint? Then in the daylight you would be totally incognito but at night......................................

But if beatdown did it on his truck it would be even more incognito, because his is white all over. No offense Wristy, but there is nothing sneaky about your pick-up.

Many things acomplished today.

completed the wiring 100% sweeeeeeet. its a pain in the neck, but ultra satisfying when done.

bought a combo pack: fuel sender and gauge. I used the old sender's mounting plate with the new sender body. a little bit of welding grinding and filing. its done. I really hated to destroy my perfectly good sender. Oh well.

chopped the front bumper down. and re did it. kind of didnt like the giant hoop things. I envisioned one thing, and got another. It would have looked better if it was smaller round tube I think. Now it looks killer

finished the hood, left fender and door with my signature skull camo

little more to do...

Still need a fuel pump, a trans and drive shafts.
I think I got the trans fingered out. The dude selling the donor truck, saw my Death Proof skull and crossbones on my hood and gave me a pirate flag. It rocks!!

to paint your truck skull camo:

step one: locate truck in messy shop.

step two: sand it with what ever you find laying around. its not a show truck, neither is the paint. I am building it all to try and kill it. so who cares what grit. just get it rough so paint will stick. then tape off what you dont want painted. I didnt tape off the windows, id rather use a razor to get off any overspray. the windows could use a cleanin any way.

step three: outline the basic camo. It helps to have a previously camo'd job on there

then start with two colors or one, be sure to paint say a brown over a green, and so on. then go back with the other two colors, flip the stencil around a few times. and you wind up with this.

the hood: I nearly fell off taking this pic.

front plow ver. 2.0

pirate flag zippie tied to the 102" whip.

good news and bad news this weekend.

my computer is done for. I am on the Mac. cant load any video or pics, this thing does not have a photo program. well I think. this mac is waaaaay different than a lame PC.

lots of progress.

got the tranny all torn down, inspected, its good. slapped in in there. I left the T case off, and just bench pressed it in. thats how I get all of the truck trannys in and out. beats fallin off the jack.

I double checked all the fluids, put some oil down the spark plug holes, and fired er up. that engine has not run in three years. I aint kiddin, that thing must have made less than a single crank, and it fired right up.

have not got the exhaust all the way on, just the straight pipe off the hedder. OH, FAWK!!!! that sounds SOOO good!. I just LOVE a strait piped 22R.

and the BEST part of all, I got power steering. Oh, baby!! power steering!!!

also I put some FJ rotors in place of my lame solid ones, yanked the weenie calipers off there, (one was partially siezed anyway) and stole the V6 calipers off my 89. Also cut that measly backing plate off. would have worked with out it, but I am done with that mud and rock holder.

well the good part is no more weenie brake system, BUT the calipers are so much wider, now my wheels wont fit. so i took a griner to it, and took off just a little bit, but it aint enuff. i need some spacers. I was hoping to get it back on the ground, case I wanted to swap out the IFS' rear axle and put in the meatmobile. Oh well.

just slapped some washers on the front studs, shaved a little off the caliper and its all good.

I got the IFS rear slapped in there. The diff that was in there is a open V6 4.10 Cool!!!

Had a broken front brake line. I jacked the one off the turbo truck. was pretty close to my 80's.
got er all bled out.

sweeeeeet

And now, the best news of all...

I took er on the somewhat MADIEN VOYAGE!
you have no idea how excited I am. Had a damn perma-grin for the last hour since I drove it.

That power steering is soooo nice.

Perhaps the best part of all is the power steering.

It ran and drove nicer than ever before. I am so excited!!!
