Auxillary light switch compatability
If you look Slee Offroad's website in this link, you will find an auxillary light switch (see photo) which will drop into cutouts on FZJ80s. I am not in a position to measure an 80 cutout vs. a cutout in my 4Runner but they look to be the same size (see attached photo with cutout circled in red - ignore the broken toggle switch in the middle!).
Has anyone dropped one of these into a Gen1 4Runner or truck dash? Bit of a longshot question I know! Slee - Electrical Switches

Ante up to an 80 series!

Yep it should work. I found that blank is really good for the rear locker switch out of a Tacoma.

Will that switch, or a similar one fit the extra blank in a T100 dash. Looks very similar to the blank in the 4runner dash above.

It looks like a commonly sized dash part, I kept a couple blank covers from my 80 (salvage
). I like them for adding switches as discretely as possible, unlike poking holes (with zero consistency) wherever the switch will fit. A toothless gypsy was my truck's PO, he had pompous glowing Radio Skank switches everywhere. Also having consistent switch plates gives you the option to move some things around with minor wiring work. For instance if you wanted to switch your hazard with your clutch start cancel switch.
