Rig of the Bi-week

Hey all,

I guess it's my turn! Below is all of the information about my '88 4Runner. I bought the truck in the summer of 2004, and to be completely honest, I've never wheeled it!

I pulled a few components off of my previous truck - an 86 xcab once owned by Jack Alford and got it ready for the trails. Upon prepping for the first run, I found out the front cross member and frame were cracked, so back into the garage it went.

My good friend Steve at LCR4wd stepped up and rebuilt the ARB's, frenched the rear spring hangers, fixed the frame, welded on a FRORF front cross member brace and hanger. I put about 4000 miles on the truck as a weekend driver and eventually installed a Badland Bumpers rear bumper that I purchased used from Brian @ Wab-Fab... Since then, it's been in storage awaiting a new owner!

Since these pictures were taken, I've added 1" Roger Brown blocks to the rear of the truck to level it. It runs great - pulling about as well as the 3.4 in my old 96 4Runner. Mileage varies from 15-18. The truck just needs a couple of minor items to be a turn-key DD/Wheeler, one of which is a new home.

Thanks!

I also own an 89 4Runner, so I don't really need two. In addition, I just purchased a foreclosure, so I have a lot of work ahead of me!
