Sorry, I don't have a number. But I can tell you that in first gear, high range, it has about as much torque as the gas engine did in low range, 3rd gear (maybe?).
Looking for a number isn't what you want. It's more that the diesels torque band starts at much lower RPMs, and is much more constant than a gas engine. It makes it seem considerably torque-ier. Like I said, it's got more torque than I care to use in day to day driving. I'm honeslty concerned about the long term health of my U-joints and driveline if I were to get my foot into every start.
I don't know if brian894x4.com has specs on these engines or not (although I think they might), I think some of them might be availabe from SOR's catalog. Frankly, I'm not a numbers guy. What amazes me is that at 65mph, at 6,000 feet MSL, I cruise with maybe one quarter throttle, and can still push myself back into the seat pretty good.
