which rear axle shafts

Considering new axle shafts for mini I am building. The truck is an 83 and is gettinga later wider rear axle installed. I picked up a V6 3rd witha detroit in it from Cougerfreak. The gears are being changed to 5.29.
Anyway I am considering upgrading the axle shafts.
All Pro 4340
Marlin 4340
or Poly Performance
I have the Poly PErformace shafts in my FJ40.

Anyone have any opinions?
Thanks
Dave

I've got stockers in mine and have yet to brake one. Unless your going to be running a stronger motor I wouldn't bother. If i had the choice I would run Marlins.

I have the stock reared unit in my truck. It has a spool, 5.29s, with dual transfer cases, and 37 MTrs. I pushing it with the stock 4 cylinder motor so far I have not broken anything yet. I would say don't spend the cash until you have to.
