Been building up my new Toy for the past couple of months, it's coming along. Next up are Bud Built skids, some 4xInnovations sliders, and a tire carrier for the tube bumper. I still have my FJ80, but it's been retired to mostly street duty and for the wife to haul the kids around.

Mods so far:

ARB Bumper
AllPro Rear Tube Bumper
Toytec/AllPro Lift Components (around 3" of lift)
33" BFG ATs
Bob'd Bed (From a Longbed Length to a Factory Shortbed Length)
A.R.E. Truck Cap
Some Herculiner after the Bed Bob
Hella 500s
CB/GPS/Navigation
Corolla Bucket Seat Swap
AR 767 Steel Wheels

Maintenance Done So Far: It's the 22RE with a 5Speed

New Timing Chain and Guides
New Water Pump
New Oil Pump
New 3.0 V6 Radiator, Fan Clutch
Dual Stage T-Stat
New Plugs, Wires, Dist. Cap/Rotor
Amsoil Fluids
Marlin Crawler Shifter Bushings

Some Pics as it sits now:

Here's how it started back on Jan. 5th when I picked it up from the previous owner:

Here is my Toyota. It has a 22R motor, 6" Skyjacker lift, 35" Boggers, 5.29 gears, bed bobbed 13", rear mechanical locker, Webber carb, Aluminum rims, Exo over cab, push buton start, and four point seat belts.

The cage is built out of seamed pipe. I will be cutting that off this summer and ditching the springs for tor rears up front and chevy springs in the rear. It's not super hardcore but It will work untill I can link the suspension and put some other doo-dads on it.

Here is my Nissan(I know it is a Toyota board but this is my main trail rig right now).

Alcan springs, fiberglass fenders, snorkel, RS9000XL shocks all around super charged, and an axle waiting for the front end this summer.

and the newest mod.
some bedliner.

Hey guys. I have been getting a little more involved with toyota 4x4's over the last year or so. I am probally one of the younger members, being only 19. I just started going to kettering univ for mech engineering, so naturally i am a gear head.
I have two second gen 4runners. The beater and the beauty queen.
The beater is currently under the knife, getting a solid axle swap and some other goodies.
Just after pulling a load of wood out of the woods...

Currently

My beauty queen, 91 runner, V6, 140K miles. A few dings and dents, no rust.
After taking a bath with a friends FJ.

Defintally dont have nearly as many mods of most of the others on here. Kinda feel outta place.

Nope, i take the cake at 17! What size tires on the "beauty"?

Albin, Am I mistaken or is that a black Jeep Scrambler (CJ8) in the background of your last pic, the one that looks like a homemade RTI ramp?

Don't sweat it, a fully modded out truck gets less and less practical for daily use.... I'm in a Civic now.... Hehe
