snorkels for an 86 4runner?

my friend just got an 86 4runner and was wondering if they
made a snorkel for it. if so where can he get it and about how much will it cost him. thanks in advance.

I think the safari snorkel will work through 88. They are through ARB.

The snorkel will go right into an 86 with the 22RE. If you are installing an arb snorkel into a 88-89 generation 1 4runner with a 3.0, you have to be careful that the piece which connects to the body of the truck is not for a 2nd generation body style. I have heard that you must specify this to ARB when ordering so they will replace the 2nd generation part with one from the generation 1 22RE kit.

well that one is my buddies truck but when ive driven it I can only notice the snorkle outa the far reaches of my periferal vision and if it were to block anything it would have to be a leer jet about to take me out. so I would say no. no line of sight issuse at all less your worried about black helicopters and dive bombers.
