Baggin' my 4x4

Ok, so while getting ready for our relocation (boxing and storing non-essentials), I found some old airbag equipment from my last mini project. I know Scorpion uses them. Same principal as mounting the bag to the 4-link in the rear of a mini to get crazy lift and still lay frame. So this got me thinking. I hate my SAW t-bars (no flex), and I still have awhile until I can afford a SAS (I have most of the airbag parts already = CHEAP MOD). I also noticed the IFS on my 4x4 looks similar to my old 92 2wd. Even though I wont get as much flex as running a SAS, it'll be better then the none/little I have now. Plus I already have 90% of all the stuff to do it now and what I do need will cost me under $100 and I can do it all in one night. Does anyone know anyone running this kind of setup? What are your ideas about it? Just want some ideas before I do this. Thanks.

I have never heard of using air bags up front on the stock IFS. I don't see what you'll gain, travel is limited by the a-arms and stops, air bags will only give adjustable spring rate plus there is no room with the axles in there. If you want cheap, shell out $100 and get some BJ spacers, take some pre-load off the t-bars and put in ultra low profile upper a-arm stops.

Yeah my friend was over last night and the only thing we could see was making a mount over the upper arms, but after looking into it further, we saw that the wheel well will have to seriously modified to clear a bag so that it does not rub. And for anyone that has not seen a Scorpion, I say take a look at the setup. Seems a bit complex to me, but they have a few good ideas. Maybe being fairly new to 4x4's is why but this pic just looks awsome.
