| 'Nother Newb Hey people, fairly new to 4x4's. Just bought an 86 4Runner (dirt cheap and running LOL). Nice hard 31" Mud Kings snuggle AR 16" wheels. IFS does great for romps thanks to the red SAW kit and Rancho shocks. Will be going with Aussie locker in the rear until I go SAS next year. Other then that, hope to learn some great tips and ideas. Enjoy the pic... day I brought it home. I must say that Nu_Finish did wonders for the paint. Will post some "action" shots later.
Left untouched/Right Nu-Finish
BTW, a salute to all you seasoned wheelers LOL

Yeah there are a ton of places here all within 50 miles of the Phx Metro area. For me, I have a small area that is maybe 1.5 miles away. Nothing fancy or hard, more like a test area. Some narrow rocky stuff, a couple loose dirt hills with the usual staggered pits (tough if no locker like me), and a few large rocks to let you stretch your truck on. That's where I took the pictures at. |
