I appreciate all of your help on my AC/Heat fan speed thread! Now it looks like I need to replace the Speedo Cable on my 1991 Toyota chassis motorhome (1-ton Dually Toyota pick-up.)

I have never replaced a speedo cable on any vehicle. Can anyone walk me through it on my Toyota? Thanks!!!

First remove speedo cable from side of tranny and chuck it in a drill to see if it is the culprit. If it is, remove and replace with another from a speedo shop or from Toyota. It is a pretty easy R&R job on a truck but I don't know if the motorhome changes anything.

The job was pretty easy and straight forward. The cable was the problem, and the speedo is as stable as ever with the new one. Thanks for the help!
