Fire both on full auto and I get a feeling youll change your mind.
The fal is more shoulder friendly on semi....but the true beauty of all HK battle implements is in burst/full auto. Not that I advocate the necessity of it for myself....but I do have a rather large love for the HK autos.
The garand is a fine weapon. However, it does lack a couple key components of more modern weaponry. There is no comparing a 91 or a FAL to a garand. Not the same style. Like apples and oranges.
There are situations when both would be useful, and when both would suck.
