Can Not Find Switch
Hey all..
I have a little problem.. I've looked high and low for the little thing but can't find the switch / button for the head light washers that my LJ78 is equiped with.. Under the hood I have a large tank full of washer fluid and a large headlight on it. Pump is wired in. washers out in front of the head lights.. I also have a main windshield washer tank on the other side of the motor compartment. Any one else have this little problem?? Where did you find the switch / button to make em work? |

Either that or the switch will literally push forward as well as flicking side to side or up and down (whichever way you've got it sitting). I know my FJ73's rear wiper washer switch is like this, as is the other cars I own. So It might apply to your headlight washers

Well I've tried both your suggestions.
I've only been able to get the windshield washer to work. Moved the head light lever every which way along with the windshield wiper lever.. No head light washer action. The read wiper switch works the rear wiper intermitent one way, push that side in and it shoots washer. Switch it to on and the wiper runs all the time push on the switch in this position and it also shoots washer at the window. BUT no head light washer at all..Mystified I am.. Richard |

you raelly think there is a break in the wiring harness All kidding aside the wireing harness is still wrapped up in it's tight little wraps.. and looks like it has been that way for 16 years. (still a vergin) I think that if I can not find the switch I will pull the head light washer fluid tank and test the pump..Maybe just maybe after 16 years it has decided to give up..but if it dose work, mystified I will remain for a while anyway.. Any other thoughts.. Richard |

check the pump, then take the hose off and blow air through to see if maybe both hoses are plugged...
