I am trying to put on a new antenna I got that isn't exatly like the old one, how do you get at it to work on? Do I have to take something off? Just wondering if anyone has done this. Thanks for any help in advance Eric |

I had to remove the wheel well cover to access mine as my arms just were not long enough to reach through the engine compartment.

Do you have a 70? The antenna is a PITA to get to I just took my time reaching my hand up through the inner fender or hood.

yep I have a 70, I got to it kinda, lol
Ya I'd say it is a PITA ahh well geter done Thanks for the help guys Funny thing when I did it I took out the one battery and when I went to put it back it I hooked up red on + black on - not thinking about my 24v system, and was like damn what did I do, then I thought about how a series worked and then I swiched the cables and she came alive. Weird though, well not weird just different. Still gotta love that 24v start. Cheers Eric |
