You can get thermostat, temp.sensor and radiator cap (the same as 80 series) in US, call Dan at American Toyota (800 432-6668 ext 8). As far as fan clutch, get it from HillTop Toyota in BC, call Tracy at 888 290-3388 and if it's still available, she will ship it to you . In both places you will get a 25% TLCA discount. I might have a spare fan clutch.

I am pretty sure the clutch fan is different than the ones on toyota vans, the clutch fan is particular to the 3B as to when it engages, it might be the same bolt pattern but I think that is the only thing the same.

... so if it different... I don't care... it do the job. ... but I don't see the difference between it. (I experience it last week, because I remove the one on my 70 and it look the same as the one I put on my 60 (from the van)). MOmaybe the difference is in the clutch... resistance or what else... But I'm sure that don't effect le cooling procedure. __________________ BJ42 1982 * The Primitive Beast - wvo BJ70 1985 * The Green Machine - wvo some say The Mighty Pickle ! come on ! 1992*Corolla*All-trac* The Quiet Spirit Si je dois aller en enfer... ce sera en Landcruiser (Canadian french guy (Québécois)... sorry for my english ! ) Last edited by David*BJ70; 02-18-05 at 07:09 AM. |

I called Hilltop Toyota in BC, and tried to cross reference the fan clutch to any other yota. It's a BJ70 only, period.
