Are you sure you can get the HDJ79 in Guatemala, Charles? I know you can get the HZJ79, but the turbo diesel pick up is an Oz only item AFAIK. Put me on the list anyway

May be possible as a special order. I've never asked, nor have I looked closely at the new pickups. Here many people don't like turbos. When I asked a mechanic the works on teachers cars he said NO ONE here knows how to work on them or how to treat them to obtain a reasonable life span. He was interested in my BJ60 as they have them here too but NO turbos. Because of the abundance of steep hills I always need to let my truck cool before shutdown. There are some turbo-diesels from Toyota though. The '96 '80 series I looked at a week ago had a factory turbo-diesel and five speed.
