Question : Annoying Squeal

Annoying squeal from the rear end of by BJ73, prominent when reversing. Put the rear end up on jacks, put it in gear and spun the wheels back and forth, I would suspect rear input bearing but to methe sound seems to resonate from the driveshaft, cant say for sure its the rear bearing? Any ideas? At first i thought it was a clutch issue but it isnt...

Howdy! I'd grease up the ujoints and slip joint on the DS, and check fluid levels in the transfer and rear diff. If that makes no difference, then look into the rear brakes. John

I had the exact same thing happen to me on my Toyota P/U, the problem was fixed with about 20-30 pumps of grease in the drive shaft slip joint.
