Your parents live up at the pass? What the heck are you doing in FLATSVILLE?
Man are they ever hurting for snow up there....
Cant wait to see your BT-60.

first attempt at posting a pic - bear with me...here's mine after a quintessential Vancouver moment - washing off the salt from the annual week of snow - in the pouring rain.
Currently has OME, 33" BFGs, rear ARB, 8274, 4.56s.
Hopefully within the next month or 2 all the other bits that have been accumulating over the last year will find their way on the truck - front ARB, FF rear end (stop laughing, Greg...) Lightforce 240 Blitz, and a sweet rear drawer set-up.
Needs side protection and a back bumper bad...

I like them. The gearing seems slightly lower than stock gears with 28s (or whatever 235/75-15 works out to).
We threw Greg_B's 35s on once to see if they'd fit. The gearing felt spot on.

I already took out the rear seat in anticipation of a rear drawer set up. I haven't started yet. Did you already start? I wouldn't mind hearing about how you were going to lay it out, size, etc.

Pocholin, could I bother you for some close up pictures of the 98 1FZ engine? The headers are of great interest (factory, yes?) Thanks!

looks good. I was thinking about 2 drawers, so I could get to one drawer by only opening the left door. I'm also wondering how high the deck is from the floor.

I had a single drawer cabinet in my 70 and just ripped it out. I'm now going to mount a fridge slide for my ARB and a taller 2 drawer cabinet beside that then build a wire mesh top to go over it with a dog barrier style divider bettween the cockpit and cargo area's...this way i can throw in all the light-wieght crap and not have to tie it down. I'll post some pics as I progress...

Mostly because I don't want to see this thread die and partly because somebody asked about my rear bumper. Heres another shot of my '86BJ70 as well as one of Charla's '85BJ73

Here's another shot with it's stable mate The colors are a close match Stone, no plans for driving down BC way any time soon. Might next year maybe if I got the money to do a body change with a rust free unit that Sheldon hopefully can get from Japan. Can't do this till I get the cruiser paid off

It's not hard if you want to import a Canadian spec cruiser. You just need to find a RI (registered importer) that know's what it takes. If you do find one, be sure to look it over first before buying it as they all suffer from "Canadian cancer"

taco, i would love to do it one day. it does seem like alot of 70's i see online from Canada are very rsuty, except all of the guys on here. So how much does a clean built 70 with cable lockers run you up there? or in US dollars would be even better.
Thanks
