Have to agree with that one!! a well setup leaf front end smack a cruddy patrol 3 link front end for flex. At a recent ramp day my middy was only 20mm behind a lifted 80 series! was happy with that considering my rear end hardly moves at the moment, should be better once the 3-4'' springs go in! leaves are where its at for simple and effective!

hold on here, i never said the leaf is better than, or as good as, the coil, i just said the leaf can flex very well.
they both have their downsides for off road.

We know the best setup leaf cant be as good as the best setup coil but the leaf spring still has its place high up there if done right. Now back to modded 70series, here is my recent photos, still a few mods to be done but almost there. Next few mods will make it longer, taller, wider and louder

Talking

I have posted it before but not with the new 39.5" rubber. And show some leaf spring critics what the old school setups can achieve with some tweaking. the ramp is 1400 mm high and its at the top.

If your referring to me no revolver shackle's here. Yes shackle reversal and longer springs front and rear with longer shackle's.

Been busy today, rear jerry can and hi lift carrier. Inside made some draws incorporating a spot for a fridge (soon to come) Tommorow i'll cover the draws and make them look decent and might start building a fridge slide.

There from Venezuela... Most 70's are with poison there.

For your information, Venezuela is the bigest market of off road pruducts in sout america. Then come Chile and Argentina. That says a lot of the poeple who lives there, they have the off road in the blood.

Waiting on the longest shocks I can buy 917 mm open 536 mm closed eye to eye so that they are not restricting the travel. Should have them refitted end of next week need to move both the shock hoops and bottom mount aswell unfortunately.
