In typical mid 80's fashion the rocker panels in my 70 are starting to go. I've got a JDM tub thats been hit hard but is good for patch panels and a set of new OEM rocker panels in the garage. The original plan was to cut out the cancer this winter and repaint the lower half. I've heard of guys cutting out the 70 rockers all together and building an integrated slider into the lower half of the body. Has anyone here done it and if you have can you post some pic's and tips? I may go this route as I want to keep it as a wheeler and not restore it to the point where I afraid to get scratches in the bush. I'm gone for five days but thanks in advance for any help.
