hdj79 rear disc brake parts / conversion?!

hey guys.
im in the finishing stages f
of some work on a 79 for a customer and ran nto a snag. the rear discs are worn down and cracked in the hat area, where the ebrake shoes ride. also, the shoes are worn out.
so far i have not had any luck locating the needed replacement parts here in tge USA although i hae not tried sor yet. any leads would be appreciated. i looked up the part#s on toyota diy but no luck at the dealer.....

from the looks of it, the 100 series parts are slightly larger in diameter. has anybody done an upgrade/conversion to the 100 series rear outers? if so, then what all did you have to change?

thanks in advance!!!!!

Any mining company should have them - try ENS in saskatchewan.

thanks for the replies

i talked to john at e4 auto in canada, he bought out rob at raddcruisers. john's always been very helpful, just like rob. he was able to help me cross-refference the part #s from some of the other trucks that ran virtually the identical parts.

so now my local dealer is on the hunt for them.....

You could also have had them overnighted out via airfreight from Toyota Australia or Toyota South Africa. Just an idea.

the truck will be here for at least another two weeks; the owner won't be able to pick it up til lthen. so i'm not in a huge hurry.

has anybody tried to convert these to 100 series brakes? if not, then i might have to try it myself. should'nt be that difficult and the replacement parts won't be a problem at that point.
