I own LJ77 with original engine 22R....underpower and really fuel hunger....thinking of replacing with 1KZ-T.I don Like automatic transmission but most of halfcut comes with auto gearbox.Any one pls give and idea.

i drove the LJ78 with the transplanted 1HZ/R151 http://forum.ih8mud.com/70-series-te...into-lj78.html in Revelstoke BC.

i liked it so much i am performing a 1PZ turbo intercooled with propane/R141 into the LJ78 i have here as we speak. it should be done Monday. next summer it will get modded to resemble this: http://forum.ih8mud.com/70-series-te...ouble-cab.html

the 1HZ into a LJ78 is a perfect truck (AFAIAC), coil, 4.90, 7* series body, 4 doors... nice.
