That colour really grew on me, there were 2 others around the central west NSW as well and I have seen heaps of RV 79 series utes in that colour even have a mate with one.

Not sold here except on a soft top Bundeera.

I saw something odd in Balcatta this morning. It was a light duty 70 swb with the square headlights and FRP top.
It also had the rubbers for the windscreen to rest on when folded down
I have seen a few FRP tops on the old Bundeera's,I think someone made them here for soft top owners. I got to have a quick look at one at a mechanics a while back.

i always wondered why they stuck the bonnet windshield hold downs on the 70 rag only when the 73/74/75 all had the fold down frames... those little buggers are HUGE money.

Love the looks of those buggers, but try to get one at a decent price in the states, good luck.

I see a shorty hard top going around balcatta every now and again it has the square headlights and rear number plate light says prado colour is very close to 95-97 commodore botanica mica green/blue and have only every seen 2 lj78? square lights one was very similar colour to crushers "the truck i want" when i seen it at traffic lights drooling pointing and carrying on like a pork chop about how rare/cool/gadgets they have my girlfriend thought i was having a heartattack
I have a pic of a bundera soft top with after market frp top and a little arb badge in the corner of it they must have produced them for a while ?

Those tractor tyres are nuts are they actually ment for the landcruser/4x4 rims what speed can you do with them with out death wobbles

actually, i have had them up to 55 mph / 90 k/h (by the speedo which is out by roughly 20%) on the straight and smooth as a street tire but cornering you need to slow right down to 50 k/h, the sidewalls flex too much. they are like riding on chains up to 15 k/h but smooth out after that.

they fit perfectly on stock LC rims, fit inside the fender wells and need only 3" of lift over stock. $200/tire is cheap compared to boggers and other aggressive street tires. we did a run out in Alberta with a buggy on 38" Swampers and i could idle through anything he had to work at. i LOVE them but on hard rock they do not perform that great but as long as you have traction... you are moving. if you get stuck... you are REALLY stuck.

NOT RECOMMENDED!

i run the tires at 18 psi and they perform excellent on everything but hard rock (or rock hard sand would be the same)... picture climbing a rock face using your fists instead of your fingers...

in a nutshell a 75 is a cab chassis or troopie from 1985 to 1998 or basically an early 78 but with front leaf springs. Most other things are the same. The white troopie pic up the page is a 75.
