1PZ Dualmass flywheel solution

Well, i have 6,000km on my welded flywheel now, and it seems just fine. My truck had started making a noise off and on that i couldn't locate. It got so bad that i finally said heck with it and yanked out the tranny to see if it was actually the springs coming off of my flywheel! Suprised as i was...bits and pieces started falling out as i separated the two. Fragments were all that was left of one spring, the other three were still there but not looking in any condition to play a part in moving my truck down the road. I welded the flywheel one night out of desperation of finding an alternative to purchasing a $1800cdn Toyota dualmass flywheel. I had a shop balance the flywheel and installed a 3B clutch assembly with it to take care of the lack of springs on the now welded flywheel. With Sheldon's help we rooted through a local cruiser heads yard of cruiser parts mayhem and discovered the 3B clutch disc to be the same splines, same diameter, and the length of the splines to be within a 1/8 of an inch. It all went together as if it was meant to be.
As soon as i started the truck i knew i had fixed the problem. No more mysterious rattle. The truck actually sounded like it was a smooth running diesel again! I do notice at lower RPM's(1,500 to 1,700 in 3rd and 4th it has a small vibration.
The next day after completing the job, i hoped in for a 5,000km troad trip down to Moab, Utah for some mtn biking and off-roading. The truck ran fine, idled fine and carried me and my passengers slowly there and back! (3 guys, bikes, camping gear powered by a PZ!) Thanks to Sheldon for the beta and Greg for the valve adjustment!
