will BJ60 fan clutch fit BJ70?

I'm looking for a fan clutch for my 87 bj70. The part # (16210-56040) has been discontinued by Toyota according to CruiserDan.

The fan clutch for a BJ60 is part # 16210-58011 (or 58012) depending on year. And is still available.

Does anyone know what the difference is? Will my 70 fan fit the 60 clutch? Or if anyone has a new oem clutch for the 70 and wants to sell it let me know.

Thanks.

Toyota often use different part # for the same part if they are to go on different models.
I cannot see any reason why they are not intechangeable.

The fan clutches for other engines are interchangeable with different bodies eg FJ70 and FJ60.

Yep, I'm thinking they interchange. I was amazed by the different #s. If anything the bj60 fan clutch locks up a little sooner due to the larger load anticipated. An HJ60 f.c. may also work and am hoping to hear about that.

Thanks,
Jon

From what Ive seen ,the clutches are color coded with a dob of paint. Ive seen orange ,blue and black.
If its the same color it should be the same clutch
