roof rack for prado lj78

hey guys. so i have a 1990 prado and am actively looking for a rack to put on top. im pretty set on a basket style, preferably aluminum, rack system. anyone know where the best place to source one could be in the vancouver area? also looking for a ladder to go on the back door... any help would be greatly appreciated!

try contacting mot concerning the ladder, he's got some connections for accessory stuff like that. Not sure about the rack though...

i'd say your best bet would be to find somone who wanted to get rid of the one that came on their truck when it was boated over.

Here is the basket I am thinking for my Prado...

eBay Motors: Westin Aluminum Alloy Cargo Roof Basket Tray 59 x 49 (item 250170730286 end time Jun-25-08 12:38:19 PDT)

The actual one I would prefer to get is 49 x 71 (this link just came up first) for 339 ish.... the problem will be the shipping cost but the rack itself is fairly inexpensive as far as baskets go... (dont think I can get one made for less at any rate.)

I will be attaching it to yakima rack (I am hoping to add a third or forth rail as soon as I can find someone in the bargain finder trying to get rid of a set...)
