No,after 98 or 2000,depending on which country, all the 70 got coil springs on the front.

The 75 series became a 78 or 79,the 73 became a 74 and the 70 became a 71. I think the 77 became a 76.

Thats an unusual colour. I wonder if its a Toyota colour?

In Venezuela the switch from leafs on the front to coilsprings came in 2.002.

That color is available from the factory but it's a special color and it's quite rare to find a vehicle that has it.

Good information I dont think Ive seen it on an Australian landcruiser.
I think Landcriser Aust changed to coil front early to compete with the Nissan Patrol.

I realize the Venezuelan 70's are assembled in Venezuela. It would be interesting to know which of the drivetrain/body parts used DIDN'T come from Japan... besides the rear axle. Are the steel body parts manufactured in Venezuela?
