Thanks, the rimsare good - but only 6 inches wide - not good on a 13.5 inch tire The 100 series rims I bought will have to get the centres machined a couple of mm so they will fit over the hubs, I'll need spacers as well.

Low on the list of priorities now, maybe in the next couple of weeks - gotta pay some bills first. I'll post pics when they are mounted though. I need to figure out how much of a spacer I need.

For machining the wheels, Williams Sales in Cumberland has a lathe big enough to chuck the wheels and turn them. He's 4wd guy, very smart, has done some work for me in the past. His name is John (Williams). I would do it but my lathe will only spin a up to 13 diameter.

I'm from a part of ontario called the Ottawa Valley, it's got its own dialect = sometimes I can barely understand them. And, like in Oz, we say "Gidday" in the valley.

The valley accent is hilarious. I heard some priceless ones on our snowmobile tour. "Let's go for a little Tooooouuuuuurrr"

Ok, had a bit of time to mess with some electrical stuff - and my ARB/Air system.
I added a second battery, unfortunatly it is on the other side of the truck so I have to run more wire than I would like to have. This is what I did:
Added second battery, connecting main to a charging relay that senses when the alternator is charging - when it is the aux battery is charged and powered up. When the truck is off the main battery is isolated from the aux battery - so I always have a starting battery. The switch allows me to shut both batteries down, use the main and aux when running, or both batteries if I want to use the winch or the main dies and I want the aux to start the truck. All the battery connecting cables are 4/0, and the relay wires are 2/0 - both are pretty huge wire. The winch will be 4/0 when done as well.
Secondly, I have added a second fuse panel inside the truck and under the dash - it runs all my aux systems, a/c, ARB, guages, aux lights, e locker etc. It is good for 120 amps of accessories. everything has huge fuses on them in case something shorts out.
ARB air system:
For the air system I used the new ARB bigger compressor and a 2.5 litre air tank, I also added a Slee aluminum manifold and water seperator. I feel that the compressor produces alot of water and that can't be good going into the air tank and locker itself, the dryer is easily emptied by pressing a button. I made a small bracket and attached it to the battery brace.
I had to relocate the rad overflow bottle as it interfered with the electronics platform - but I'll find a better spot for it when I get rid of the intercooler for a more compact Water/air intercooler. The electrics are bolted to a teflon cutting board that is mounted to an aluminum plate.
There are some pics below- will post more when it is done.

Wire alone was about 500, everything total to wire the aux battery will be about 800 total.

Ya I need a longer panhard as I am going with a 3 inch lift spring in the front, not sure about the rear yet, might put one leaf back in the rear pack as I am carrying a few pounds of kit when I wheel - but I stilll neede a bit more clearance between the bed and the tire - maybe raise the bed a bit or make a little longer shackle - or a combo of both - will sleep on it. Pretty happy with the way it runs though - very comfy and kicks some serious ass.

Let me know if you find spacers, I want to get some for my 79 series but have not started looking yet, I figured I would have to pull a spring and mesure to see what will fix. So if you know or find some, please let me know.
Cheers,
Michael
