70 series inner axle and mini truck swap???

Need some guidance. I have a mid-80s 70 series front axle housing and knuckles. Came to me in a parts purchase. I need to find inner shafts and birfs to keep rebuild progress moving. I have heard that mini-truck shafts are the same size and will interchange. Any truth to this?

Thanks a ton

Which mid 80s 70 series? If it is a BJ7# then the late model 40 series shafts will fit. Birfs either mini truck / 60 series or 40 series.

YA - what model. I have lots of 70 series front end stuff, axles, birfs, new hubs/knucks, bearings, seals, all kinds of stuff for all kinds of years.

Let me know what ya need. I even have 3rd members - 3.73 gearing. Will give you a great deal on what I have.

Let me know.
