GreenDiamond Icelander M/T Tires

I was wondering if these tires are any good. They are very close to Yokahama Geolander M/T. I would like to know if anyone is using them? I am planning on buying a set of the AT265 75 16.

here is the link to what you are talking about, and that is the exact same tread pattern as the geolander M/T. I have these tires on my truck and i really like them. just wish they made them in bigger sizes.

sorry, i have the yokohama geolander MT/s in about a 35" on my 87 ford diesel.

they are the exact same tread pattern as the one on the green diamond site. i suspect if green diamond is using this tread they have bought some molds from yokohama and are using there own materials (which have the grit in them for winter traction).

I really like the geolander MT/s, but they are a little small for the heavy ford, and are a little soft for longevity on the heavy thing. having said that they worked well in winter and off road but in the soft stuff the truck would quickly sink to the diff.

i would definately consider this tire if the price was right for something smaller than the ford, but would like to see it in a 35+ size.

Green Diamond Tire - North America was born out of a small family owned business with 60 years in the retread industry. Carleton Eldrett and Jeff Barlow stumbled into a man named Fridrik from Iceland who had invented a process to evenly distribute silicium carbide particles into rubber.

Already a success in Scandinavia, the Green Diamond Tire was brought to North America with only a few hundred being available in 1999. Then in the new millennium the first wave broke on the shores of Upstate New York where 10,000 tires were sold through a handful of rural outlets. The consumer response was like nothing that the tire industry had ever experienced.

TreadWright makes a tire w/ what they call Ultra Grip which I think is the same idea as Green Diamond.
I have a set of 35's on order and they have 37's and are looking into a BFG Mud treat design (but only for 16" and 17" wheels I think).They are very easy to talk to and they are retreads like Green Diamonds. One thing is all tires 35 and larger are out of a two piece mold ( 33 and smaller three piece) and may be a little tricky to get balanced. But for 4 new 35's shipped to my door for about 460 bucks
