Hey there. Thanks again. BTW since I disconnected the dc-dc converter, my battery problems are over for good. It's been months. Glad you are here. BTW the search function of the forum isn't working or perhaps I am too dumb.

No. Sadly I never got them. Cutter Electronics (talked to BEN and MARK there) say that package has been lost on it's way. They put me on hold as they do not have RECOM ICs in stock. It's been months but that's what it is... I hope they reply soon as evenytime I switch off the dc-dc converter, CD player resets and I again have to fine tune it. It's a pain. |

As you have payed for them you should get them. Hope for you it will be soon.
Recently I had to replace my radio/cd player (player died). Two days after installation I discovered that VDO Dayton has affordable 24V sets. Bummer.... __________________ Ron R 1995 HZJ-73 4.2ltr Diesel; ARB-lockers front and rear ; MM-hydr.winch 10,500#; home made sliders; HST-Parabolic springs; Koni Heavy Track shocks. http://www.ourwebspot.nl/English_index.html |

Yeah they have been holding my money since early January. It was insured so no worries there but only if they send them over.
My 400watt amp or CD player has also started giving me trouble. Some as$ plugged CD player's low pass output to amps low pass output. Now while playing, it starts to make noise (don't know what it is, the amp or CD player). I hope it's the player as amp costs and is hard to repair. |

My bet is that the CDplayer got damage.
The low power output of the player can hardly hurt the Amp, whereis the power output from the amp can easily damage the output stages of the player. What happens if you connect the Amp (temporarely) to another player/radio -set. If the noise is gone then it's definately not the amplifier. __________________ Ron R 1995 HZJ-73 4.2ltr Diesel; ARB-lockers front and rear ; MM-hydr.winch 10,500#; home made sliders; HST-Parabolic springs; Koni Heavy Track shocks. http://www.ourwebspot.nl/English_index.html |
