Prado third members question.

Can front and rear third members be swapped in the prado? As in can a rear third be put into the front?

On the earlyer 70series Prado's, they have a high pinion [reversed rotation] front diff, and the rear is a low pinion setup, so to answer your question NO they can't be changed.
The tie rod will touch the diff.

On the mini trucks one can use a LSD from a mk3 supra in the 8" I wonder if it could be used in the high pinion front diff?
