What ARB locker to rear?

What ARB locker goes to rear axle to LJ70 -90 and newer?
I´ve been telled that theres 8.9" rear diff and RD33 would fit, but ain´t RD33 to 9.5" diffs?
At front I´ve got RD23, works fine. But now I should to rear and I liked to be sure for what am I buying.

If memory serves me right you need a RD08, the LSD carrier on an LJ70 takes the same bearings as the "V6" or "turbo" trucks.

Yeah well... I bought that RD23 to rear until I hearded that it wont fit to rear axle, so I installed it to front.
Havent even cracked any joints
, theres bigger joints than at older LJ, allmost big as HDJ joints.
Here I wondered will it break but luckyly it didn´t

They dont even knock at all.

So you got 10 bolt diff, I think that this model got 12 bolt 8.9" diff...
Maybe I´ll take my risk and order that RD33

the 12 bolt 9" RD33 will work in a 40 and 60 series but defintealy not in your LJ70 unless it has some sort of hybridized rear end.

Just a Note .!

Both axles are 8" and 1.31" axle diam 30 splines ..

In my case my 3rd member are 8 7/8 = 9.5" with the same axles and splines.

Question

Hi,
Out of interest I have a KZJ70, probably the same axles as the LJ70, did yours have an LSD fitted in the rear?
I am looking at putting a arb in the rear, suppose this is the RD132 as well?
Any comments to help on my install would be much apreciated?

Thanks
Martin.

Martin,
I also ride a KZJ70 and will install RD132 in both front and rear.
I have checked that RD132 is the thing we need for out trucks: 8" 10 bolt rear diff and high pinion 8" 10 bolt front diff.

Hi,
Thanks for the reply, only just seen it.
I will go with RD132, getting some knoks and chings from the back end so may as well swap it out for a locker.

Yes they are the same for high and low pinion, but only in light duty (kzj, lj, rj, etc)
