I guess this is for emissions to clean up the particulates?
It would be nice if the 1HZ made a return here,I bet the mines are hurting paying out money for V8 cruisers that can only be used in low range.
Its also good as it extends the parts availabity for 1HZ that much longer
Any links to the 1HZ E

Hi Guys.
I live in South Africa and I'm a newbie to the mud forums. I own a 2007 pre-facelifted HJ79. I've added the following extra's over time: Full OME suspension system, Cooper 285/75-16 STT's, ARB Lockers front and Rear, IEF spare wheel carrier bumper, Safari snorkel, Ipf spotlights, Warn M6000i winch (a bit small but it works). I've also removed the front sway bar, got about 100mm more flex by doing so. With this truck I've done 2 successfull 'Baboons Pass' trips in Lesotho, and many more smaller one day outings. The truck is a bit slow unfortunately. Unfortunately I don't know how to post pics..

If you go to a site like photobucket.com you can upload pics for free and then post the link to them. An additional feature is that they are automatically resized, so you don't have to worry about that.
Look forward to seeing your rig

you will need the line, pump, rad, new dash switch with on off behind the fan dial and pull your glove box out and the cross pipe under it between the fan and thmain control bit and slot in your A/C chiller and ya little black box
i did it in my 3f fj75 i used a 60 series 3f pump and bracket just go hunt around wreckers for parts and check all the alloy threads on the aircon lines arnt stripped

Nice truck scruiser! Must say, the new front end is really starting to grow on me. Slamming an ARB bumper in front of it helps too

Hi everyone. Signed up recently so that I can find out more about SWB landcruisers. I'm in the UAE (Abu Dhabi) and am seriously considering getting a FZJ71 as a project car. I believe they aren't officially available in the UAE, but they're available in Oman which is just a couple of hours' drive away.

Fzj71 2006
Hey guys,
Just joined the club, I have my FZJ71 for a couple of years now, no major mods, just straight pipe, catack, KNN.
I'm looking to add some more stuff, like snorkel, pipe rally type bumper, tyre carrier, tyre spacers, and maybe headers.
We dont mud in this part of the world, but, lots of dune bashing and sand trips and challanges.
If you'd like to have some more of what we do check out www.dubai4x4.com

haha yeah i love the look of the rims like that, washed her yesterday...mud all down the street...shocking
vision is not an issue at all, i have no trouble, however i believe the setup is illegal as the spotlights are above the threshold of 1.1m from the ground or something along those lines dont know the exact height, you are allowed 6 forward facing lights, the light coming off the front at night is pretty special though

Smashed the original gear pretty easy so moved over to new solid Superior Engineering Drag Link and tie rod/steer rod setup. Each one weighs about as much as my hilift and will take an extreme beating before they even consider bending, both are crafted 4140. Looking at hi steer conversion if it is still and issue, but will have to go SPOA to achieve that.

Thanks man, its 3yrs old thus looks clean lol
Those tyres are ok for sand, but, not for a SWB like this, I'll remove them and put 305 BFG MT KM2 instead..
I'm not sure if they are good for climbing like the previous BFG MT which I had before!!
