Not exactly the case.
Most of the countries in world was not marketed for 70 series not USA only.
Singapore, Thailand etc...... so on. Why? I have no ideas, have to ask Toyota. The major market left are Australia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, UAE and some countries.
OOH NO, you forget the rest of Africa (not just South Africa), Middle East, Madagascar, Canada, South America and the list goes on. The "developed countries" (such as USA and the big European countries) lost out with the 70 and all the "developing countries" seems to had the fortune of the 70 !
4. Mileage on the truck odometer, in KMs please - 185,000
Turbo 3B swap in progress
Ironman 79 series coils all around (5 inch lift)
5spd H55F

Modifications:
None so far, other than some wheels and a stereo the PO installed, both of which are coming off. Plan to drive it stock for a while to find out if it needs anything.
Just wanted to thank Crusher and the other members here for all the good advice and info on (hopefully) preserving the 2.5L. It has been a great truck so far; loving the 25mpg and comfy ride. Going to take it out on a longer trail ride this week and will post a few more images.
