Wayne, paint color

Wayne,
Do you figure I can somehow find a tin of touch up paint for this rig of mine? Given we have the same color, how do I go about that? I have three dime-sized nicks in the paint now that I want to spray before winter.

Napa has a paint and body division (C-Max) and i use them to my paint supplies. just take your paint code in or better yet the fuel tank door and they can colour match real close....
there you go...

duncan auto has one of those camera deals, that takes a shot of your paint, and then they mix up a batch to suit. any amount, they can do you a spray bomb of it too.

From what I've seen and heard, the automated color match systems work well - except for white. One of my employees has a white '64 vette, and he put a 66 big block hood on it - on the third attempt to match the paint, they did it by eye and got it real close....

Just a heads up, based on my knowledge.. Check the match before you spray...

Thanks guys, I'll try to get some this week. A spray bomb should do the trick.
