i'm looking for a good framing nailer. my father in law has a huge porter cable and it's nice, but i don't know if i need anything that big. i'll be using it for finishing my basement (walls and such), building a tool shed, etc.

i've read that different types use a different degree of pitch for the nails, but i don't know what is good, or common, or whatever.

any advice, thoughts, links to nailers would be great.
