I have one! A buddy of mine gave it to me a LONG time ago, it's a transformer-type robot that becomes a hi-roofed 60 series. It's in my "Cruiserabilia" box, which is in storage (I know, it's pathetic, <insert whip cracking noise here>) I'll have to dig it up. That's the only one I've ever seen.

I'll look for it and snap a shot....

Hey, a good friend of mine just moved back to Bolivia after living in the US for the last 8 years...what's your take on Evo? (total Chit-Chat)....

La misma mierda que Chavez, o peor?

Well this is supposed to be a 60, looks more like a Cherokee but if you kinda squint...

i am an avid model builder (see here: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=231
for an example)

and i have never found a decent fj60 model in any scale. those above look interesting but pretty toylike (as is obvious in that transformers case). i also collect old dinky and corgi toys etc and there are some nice fj40s but no fj60s that i know of. i wish there were!

im thinking about scratchbuilding one but am in the middle of about 5 other model projects mostly including scratchbuilding so i think i will hold off until i get some clear road ahead.

Lets commision a model

I recall about 8 or more years ago all the folks at the Karmann Ghia email list and some other groups got together and commisioned the building of a 1/18? Karmann Ghia. We all pitched in and commited to buy a least a model. I don't recall what was the minimum order number was but they actually had a wonderfully detailed model built. I still have mine. A few years later the word got out and the 240-280Z club went ahead and had one done also with the Franklin Mint. Each models cost 100$ if I recall correctly. They are magnificent in detail and quality.

Maybe we can commision a model! I would gladly dish 100$ for a model. Would'nt you?

Rique.

yes i would throw down a hundred for a good fj60 diecast.

but im wondering why you would do that for a ghia. tamiya makes a killer 1/25 scale one with very detailed motor and like everything else tamiya makes you basically pour some glue in the box, shake it and out comes your completely built model.

if only it were so easy with an fj60.
