| Well, I dunno if it's a testament to its build quality or not, but I had mocked it up to the plenum earlier this afternoon to see how much room I was going to have for the K&N Apollo and the flex bends... We have also been trying to tune the EZ EFI system (been running super rich). Anyway, after it died while trying to set the throttle blade and IAC, I went to crank it back up and blew a HUGE fireball out of the snorkel! I thought for sure I was going to find it in pieces on the ground.
Here's the part where I show my unfortunate redneck nature... I tried to do it again to catch it on video! No luck, and probably thankfully so. In this case you really did have to be there.

| Sore spot with ARB. As i understand the company that builds theirs over there started selling them on the side much cheaper |

i think you would need alot longer pipe in that diameter to affect any engine
| Unless it set up some odd resonances at certain rpms. Unlikely with EFI,
but I've had hell with plenums on carbs.

| I swore I would never buy one because I do not ford deep water here in Utah, but at under $200.00 it is mighty tempting.

| Yeah, the seller who listed the plastic ones, not the "fiberglass" ones has not re-listed since the last auction a few months ago... A couple of other Malaysian sellers, but those have the fiberglass type. The LLDPE material one (same as Safari) seems to be gone, for now. |

| I emailed the seller of the LLDPE snorkels and he replied he would be getting a new shipment, and he would let me know when they were available -
Well, they're BACK !!
He said only 10 though, and prolly last shipment for a bit - don't know if that was B.S. or not, just repeatin'.
Anyway, just bought mine. Sheesh! And I live in a desert! Price too good to pass. EBAY AUCTION LINK |

| Got my snorkel today. Can't believe how fast it shipped, even from Malaysia. I've bought stuff from within my State that didn't ship this fast...
Anyway, this is a really nice snorkel. Looks identical to the Safari ones. I suppose short of making your own, this is a great value. |

| LOL...
You don't. Neither do I. But for this price, I can be worry-free through those 1-foot streams in the desert. |
