Engine frame bracket

I have a 60 frame that is missing the engine mount brackets that are welded to the frame. Does the 60 and the 62 use the same bracket that is welded to the frame? I have searched and found some documentation that the brackets are in the same place but cannot find any details on the brackets themselves.

Thanks

Frank

They are the same and in the same place except the holes are in slightly different position. I had to elongate the holes for my 2F to fit in the 62 frame.

Thanks good to know about the engine bracket.

So the 2F fit using the all the original 2F engine mounts and you did not have any problems with the engine sitting too high in the engine bay? I have read about that issue when people put a 2FE in a 62.

If you need a set of 60 2f engine frame mounts I have them. I removed them for my diesel swap from a 1985 Fj60. I both sides t5hat were carefully removed.

PM if interested,

Doug

So far it fits, but the body isn't on yet!
