Instead of having to sift through 11 pages of post on whose the best at what and where, and if anyone knows anyone where...

Is there some way this thread could be alphabetized by State?

Break it down by State, then have either a city or Service drop down.

If that's not possible, maybe at least a service and state break down.

Maybe something like this:

State/Region: Service: Name/Address: Refering Source:

Alabama
Alaska
Arizona
Arkansas
California
Colorado

Or this:

Engine (gas/petrol)
Engine (diesel)
(list states underneath by category or drop down)

Transmissions
(same here)

Paint/Body
(Same here)

General repair and maintenance
(Same Here)

It's just a thought to try to improve the site. It would sure make it easier to locate some of these fine folks that people refer

Besides, if you're travelling and break down, a quick referral source would be a HUGE advantage to the members here

I don't know how difficult it would be, but is it possible?

Thanks.

Carburetion Technology in Tacoma, WA did a great job getting my partially desmogged weber converted mess to successfully pass smog.

Off Duty,

The search function is your friend. Click on the "search this thread" link and type in your cities/state/region seperated by the word "or" in the keywords section. For example, typing in the phrase "tacoma or seattle or washington" (minus the quotes of course) yields all the posts in that thread that contain any of those keywords--mostly other people in the NW looking for a mechanic, but it does narrow the search down! Hope that helps.

Any cruiser mechanics in Saskatoon? (Canada)

Thought I'd throw the question out to folks.

Does anyone know of shops in or around Saskatoon - I've been checking here... through the forum... I've checked the TLCA website for cruiser groups. Nada as far as I could see. Maybe overlooked something so I thought I'd post it here....

If anyone would care to share that would be awesome and much appreciated. You could be in Saskatoon or maybe someone who drove through and got excellent help.

Want to throw props to Michael and the guys at ACC in Atlanta. They put an OME suspension on my 62 and did a fantastic job!

SAN ANTONIO Mechanic

OK - I'm just a newbie but I've been taking my 97 to Rick Cowherd - Alamo Auto Doctors. He's a Toyota Master mechanic - great service, owner and mechanic - great pricing. He opened up his own shop after working for dealers for 20 plus years. I can;t say enough - he took my fear away of owning a vehicle like a 97 LC.

Contact info:

Tell him Daryl sent ya.
