No the IH isnt mine it was one a buddy and I decided to stop and look at but they wanted to much and it was full of rust and a lot of shatty repairs front to rear.

i own (since 3 weeks ago) an fj62 1989 LC. im tring to understand her, no matter i love her since i first see. needs some big details. wondering what it looks without all the ''floor rug''. mine are orig. blue and since the floor looks so dirty im thinking about geeting it all off and put some rubber mats (like those for fjc's). im looking also for the haynes or toyota manuals, but arent at ease at my homeland (puerto rico). i ask for them at internet but they dont ships to pr. i'm very very concern about gas. thats the most freaking issue. what to do to improve gas drink? i have another problm. i'm not computer internet friendly, sooner i will post my truck fotos! does the rear seat heater coulb be thrown away. dont need it in carribeean. i got so much issues on her that i have to stop today and ask for some other advises sooner. thanks for you all and thanks also thise site a lot. jah bless!

I have been following IH8MUD for about a year now since entertaining the idea of replacing my 4Runner with a Cruiser. I am geared to go, just sold the Runner and now have the funds to improve the 88' I just bought 4 months ago. I got her from the original owner who purchased her when he was a mechanic at the Toyota dealership in town. I think he cried a bit when I drove her off - with good reason . She is bone stock, kept in a airport hanger for the last year.

- 1988 60
- 125k miles
- Improvements on the way - OME, new radiator, Eagle 589s w/BFG 31/10.5s, shoulder strap upgrade for my kids in the back seat.
- Currently a daily driver about town and camping/wheeling on the weekends.
