looks like H55, im pretty sure the H42 is much straighter

I picked it up for the H42 I'm planning on replacing the 3 speed in my 40 series (does not fit). Came out of an '86 60 series, sound right?

if it was stock transmission it should have had the H42 if us spec truck unless someone swapped it in.
if you look under the truck and snap a pic should be pretty easy to tell if it is an h55 or not, if it is an H55 then you should go back and pull it...
