what mirror pattern is this
my rig has these unslightly gaps/plugs (rectangular x pattern behind n below stock location) where some type of mirror once lived.
any thoughts as to what type of mirror it was?

Howdy! It could of been any aftermarket mirror, probably something much bigger than the OEMs. Does it look like it has been used for towing a lot? They may of been camper mirrors. John

These are the big tow mirrors you used to see on a lot of older 3/4 and 1 ton pickups. Sticks the mirror way out there. Very ugly

both sides? or just pass side?
If you got the 60 from an old guy, I bet there were 3 mirrors. Maybe a tow like posted above and a fisheye.

I have the same holes in my ford. It is an after market mirror that is big and ugly.

About that on my Ford I took them off and put a whole mirror assemble form a early Toyota Mini truck on it. Works great

^ that's what I thought, thanks guys.
Plugs on both sides, with tow hitch n 7pin wiring.
When I bought it I was told that the PO got it from her grandpa (who drove it on his ranch), let her 17yo son drive it, and didn't wanna pay for the clutch n electrical work it needed.
