FJ60 Igniter Wire Question

No, I don't own an FJ60 but I DO have an FJ60 Ignition system in my 71 FJ40.

My question concerns the gauge of wire that feeds the +12V to the igniter on an FJ60.

The connector wire for the +12V to the igniter I have (all OEM) is only 18ga. My question: is the main harness wire that connects to this connector also an 18 gauge wire? I'm rebuilding my 71 wiring harness and want to get the size close to what the OEM FJ60 was.

When I was at the smog inspection shop earlier today I was looking for that wire and didn't find it in the short time that I had to look. Found the loom, just didn't get to the wire itself. (I'm working on an SBC swap and wondering what gauge it is too.) So for both of our sakes I just had a look. The power wire looks to be 14 gauge and the tach wire looks to be 16 or 18 gauge.
