What to do What to do

Earlier this year, I got fixed nearly all the rust on my truck, wheels wells mostly, Rust Bullit and exterior bedliner, but lately I've noticed more bubbling than normal occuring around my lift gate window . How the fawk do I get rid of that? New lift gate would be the easiest, yet expensive.....

Might as well take care of it now, not like it gets any better. It's rust, it has to be all removed; end of story. If it's bad enough not to be repaired, new gate.

Key to this quote is "fixed nearly all of the rust". It like a STD. You either fix it all or you didnt fix anything. Thats why they call it cancer cause it keeps on eating.

I realize all of things (unfortunately), my question is, how do I cure the rust around, bubbling around the liftgate window?

Save yourself some pain and frustration and watch the classifieds for a new gate. It will be cheaper and more satisfactory in the long run to just get a good gate repainted your color

x2. Rust repair is easy, just time intensive. But once it's repaired, it should be good for another 20+ years.

I just replaced mine after serious bubbling around the window....you should see what it looks like when you pull the glass out to repair it......I ended up buying one. I found one on craigs list for 200 bucks no rust. Lucky find.

Wow, look at all the expensive **** in your sig line. Perhaps you should make the damned thing run, reliably, before dragging it thru an offroad catalog with a magnet attached! After all the work it took to install all that, I'd thinhk a couple of water leaks should be minor! ~TEXX (IH8MUD member) 10/09
