Thread is over a month old, but I cant help myself. What kind of mileage have you been getting? Do you consistently get 19mpg in town, how bout highway?

The end result is a lot of power (345hp) greater economy (18 mpg city) and one fast Cruiser.

here's a little video

I hope you enjoy

Very nice installation  Looks like it was "born there."

I've had the 2000 Camaro LS1 you installed and it's a great engine! Tough as nails, decent economy and aftermarket parts out the yin yang!

One question though? Since I'm not going to be racing Corvettes with my brick, how are the torque numbers?

I'm needing to pull an airboat and some fixed hull boats and need more torque as well as the additional HP.

Was thinking about the Cummins but this sems like a more reasonable alternative $$$ wise and I already have access to reasonably priced parts.

Thanks:beer:

this must fully eat

Nice conversion mate

I was thinking the same thing. Not going to the Drag Strip. Camp trailer in the mountains. Would a 5.3 be better than a LS1. Swap guys what do you think? thx matt
