Replacing the A pillars and windshield

My newly acquired 60 is rusty around the windshield and leaks into the interior of the passenger compartment. The PO began the Bondo process- my question is this...How hard would it be to replace this section of the windshield area? I have a rust free 60 that I could remove it from. I am talking about replacing the A pillars and roof back to about the raised rails, windshield, and section where the wiper arms are, to the hood. Anyone done this? Or should I complete the Bondo process, and wait for the rust to completely take over? I understand it would be somewhat of a project to do this. Just looking for ideas, and suggestions. Thanks,
Todd
