How's the tranny?
And look closer for rust.
If the tranny's good and rust is really minimal, 4K sounds good to me.

Sounds like a steal, what's up with the dual exhaust though? That seems overkill to me.

Still waiting to get a call back...not sure about the tranny/exhaust. The rust is surface started where the dent is in the driver side rocker.

It's up in Denver so I have to drive up & see it still

Here's a couple pics he sent me:

The layout of the front springs has been change with a kit so that the fixed end is at the front, and the shackle is at the back.

Looking at that truck with the decent body, 8274, and OME suspension, it is a buy at that price. Plus it's the best color FJ62 as well.

OME suspension $1500
Winch $1000
Rear bumper $1000
ARB front bumper $750

The shackle reversal is neutral in my book, I wouldn't pay for it, but it's there and working so OK.

The truck itself is basically free. If there isn't bad rust behind the rear spring hangers, it's a nice truck for that price.

Being from the east coast (Maine then PA) I have seen some pretty rusty stuff. I'll be sure to check that out when I give it a look. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

Does it still have the aux fuel tank?

It's a fair price based on what it has been sold for the last time or two. I've seen it on Denver's CL a few times over the last few years. All the right extras with one rough rear corner. I'd jump on it.

Thats not OEM paint, its green.

I've seen that truck for sale a few times before. But seems nice though.

Check to see if there's any mud inside the frame in the rear. Shows how well the owner took care of his frame. If there's mud in there, it's likely that there's rot underneath it, especially being from the northeast, ask me how I know

I'm starting to think maybe the guy doesn't want to sell it or something. He e-mailed me yesterday & said he'd give me a call between 5-6 and he never called. He hasn't given me his contact info. I told him I have cash in hand, very interested and want to come see it...

I guess I'll start looking for another one just in case.
